Riverlin is a family-run business with family at heart. It is situated in East Warburton, just 4 minutes from the heart of Warburton on the 3-acre property 'Riverlin' meaning 'by the river'.
It has been established with care to create somewhere for your family and friends to make special connections and memories together, relax and unwind or base yourself for days of exploration.

We offer three options for accommodation from a Cottage that sleeps 5, the main residence sleeps 10 and the entire estate can be hired in combination, sleeping a total of 15 people.
Serenity with mountain views

Wander the 3-acre garden property and down to the River and feel at peace with nature. Established over 40 years ago, the gardens showcase a variety of colors from Spring blooms to Autumn reds and yellows. Winter shines with camellias and daffodils and Summer beams with warm sunlight and fresh-cut grass. Wildlife is abundant with a resident wombat, deer, a kookaburra family, bowerbirds, and more

What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 2 p.m
We are located off Woods-point Rd which is sealed and appropriate if arriving by motorbike or pushbike.

What time is check-out?
Check-out is at 10 a.m.
This allows our housekeeping team to prepare in time for the next guests.
Do you have a minimum booking?
We have a one-night minim um for Sunday-Thursday for the Cottage and the Lodge
Two-night minimum for all weekends and all Retreat bookings

Can I self-cater?​
Yes, of course, all accommodations have their own equipped kitchen to enable you to self-cater.
What is supplied for kids?
All accommodations are well equipped for young kids, with plastic plates, cups, and cutlery as well as a highchair and porta-cot available upon request.
There are games as well as a playground outside and plenty of room to run around, as well as an orchard and herb garden!
​Do you have wifi?
Yes, we do have wifi available for guest use, however, we do encourage all of our guests to relish the opportunity
to disconnect from technology and spend time surrounded by nature.

Do you have any wedding packages?
Currently, we don’t offer any wedding packages. We hope one day we might be able to consider this, but for now, our focus is working hard to establish
as a prime accommodation. If you have a special occasion you would like to hold, please contact us to discuss further.

FAQ's
things to know/house rules
Before arriving at Riverlin please take the time to familiarise yourself with our house rules below.
Failure to follow these simple requirements could lead to immediate cancellation of your stay and a surcharge
1. No smoking inside or within 5 meters of buildings. Please dispose of buts safely when cooled in the waste and not the garden as we are in a high bushfire risk area. Please be respectful of other guests and help us to uphold good hygiene practices for the comfort and health of all guests. Penalties apply.
2. Registered guests only. No unregistered guests. Each accommodation offering clearly states the maximum number of guests at checkout. Please nominate the correct amount of guests when booking.
3. We ask all guests to remove outdoor footwear before entering, this keeps the wood floors clean and free from damage. Footwear can be placed on the undercover area at each entrance where they’ll be safe and dry.
4. Damages exceeding the deposit amount will be billed to the guest directly with a strict 3-day payment term.
5. Park to the left on the driveway or designated areas to avoid obstructing other vehicles entering and exiting.
Please exit in a one-way fashion. The Cottage permits 2 cars per booking and the Lodge 3 cars. If you book the Retreat option, you will have a 6-car allowance.
6. Please clean up after yourself. Guests should dispose of any rubbish in the bins provided, pop all towels on the floor in the main bathroom & wash any dirty dishes/stack and turn on the dishwasher before checking out.
8. Do not use the premises for any illegal activities. No parties, events or drugs
9. Quiet time after 9 p.m.
10. No exception to check-in and check-out times unless the early or late check-out option has been pre-paid and pre-arranged in advance- this allows the correct time for cleaners and other staff to perform their duties between bookings
11. Turn lights, ovens, AC/heaters, etc off when away.
12. We only allow pets in the Lodge and the Cottage by request only
13. Bicycles are not to be taken inside the property. More suitable storage is available.

14. Strictly NO external cooking equipment, such as camping gas stoves etc should be brought into or used inside or outside of the premises. We provide a firepit for each accommodation as well as sufficient self-catering cooking facilities

The entire property is over 2 acres.
You may see a tractor from time to time as is a small working property

The Neighbourhood
We are in a quiet area just a few minutes from Warburton.
We have very quiet neighbors and everything is fairly private and are located directly on the Yarra River
It is peaceful and away from the business of the town, yet very close by to attend all attractions.
We are also only a few minutes from the famous Redwoods Forrest by car.
Getting around
There is a bus stop out the front of the property on the main road that heads back into Warburton,
and also out to the famous Redwoods Forrest. If driving, the RedWoods is 5 mins drive.
The closest train is located in Lilydale which will take you back to Melbourne CBD.
There is an IGA, Chemist, Post Office, Pub, Bendigo Bank, and ATM located in the main center of town alongside a service station
and many small shops and cafes. There is a medical center in Warburton and Yarra Junction alongside a Safeway in Yarra Junction,
which is cheaper than IGA and has more items. It is approx 15 mins drive to Yarra Junction if you require a large shopping trip.
